Green Power Calculator

How it Works...

Trying to decide which renewable option to choose? Use this calculator to find out the environmental impact of your renewable power choices.

  • Step 1: Select if you’re a residential or business customer. The business data is for small (Schedule 32 on your bill) businesses only.
  • Step 2: Enter your monthly energy use in kilowatt hours (kWh) from your bill. Or you can enter your approximate monthly bill.
  • Step 3: Select Green SourceSM or the number of units of Clean WindSM
  • Step 4: Choose if you’d like to add Habitat Support.

The calculator will dynamically show you the estimated cost per month, the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) you would offset and how that offset equates to trees planted or miles not driven.

All percentages are approximate and may not add up to 100% due to rounding. “New” refers to power generated from facilities that became operational after July 1999.
